Hello there, it's been awhile since this blog got updated. Well first and foremost our plans to develop this blog came to a standstill. Our administrator ran off and left the blog in this condition after billing us a deposit of 500 bucks. However Lakelily is still around just that we don't have the time to do something about this blog. But nevertheless i am taking this opportunity to give my thoughts a flow.

We jammed just two days ago. Been a while since we got an opportunity to jam. Seems like everyone is busy with their working or schooling commitments. We still manage to remember our songs and everything. Feels good going home knowing that we still got it going on there. Even better, we are working on new songs. Feels good to know that our development is still growing.

The feeling of talking to azrian about the future of lakelily just hypes me up. I have lost count the number of conversations we had talking about this. I wonder if everything is just a dream. I wonder if we will ever achieve something. Maybe a demo? Maybe a show? Being busy with work made me realize that the only happy times i probably have right now in my life is jamming in the studio as a band.

2007 is coming to an end and 2008 is coming soon. From were we started back in early 2006, I am glad to say that we have progressed a decent lot considering we started from scratch. I hope 2008 will hold more opportunities for us to progress.

Bands come and go as time passes by. Even though sometimes i feel times are hard right now when everyone is going through their own difficult times in each of our individual lives, i know lakelily isn't going to die out.

Thinking of lakelily now reminds me of the saying, what lies behind us and what lies before us are just small matters compared to what lies within us. We must believe in ourselves before we can even believe in our dreams..
